Congratulations Andrew

On 19th December 2005, another Honour was bestowed on one of the Past Masters of the Lodge.

Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master Bro. George M Preston headed a small but distinguished deputation into the Lodge to make a very special presentation. Past Masters Bros. Walter Sneddon and Scott Sneddon came along in their Grand Lodge of Ancient, Free and Accepted Masons of Scotland capacities as Immediate Past Substitute Grand Master and Junior Grand Standard Bearer respectively.

The RWPGM had come along to present PM Bro. Andrew Fullarton with honorary grand rank of the Grand Lodge of Scotland in the form of Honorary Grand Senior Deacon for the sterling work he has done and indeed still does for the Lodge and Freemasonry in general. After making fitting reference to ‘Andra’s Masonic career and love of the Craft the RWPGM, IPSGM and our own RWM each presented him with a piece of his Grand Lodge regalia.

This was a very fitting end to the year for PM Fullarton as this was also the year in which he and his wife Bella celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary, however Andrew reliably informed me that technically they have only been together for thirty two years, the remaining eighteen years he has spent at Masonic meetings.
The Right Worshipful Master, Past Masters, Office Bearers and Brethren of Lodge Polkemmet would like to congratulate Andrew on attaining this well deserved honour and wish him every happiness and success for the future.
